To configure client permissions, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Settings Page:

    • Click on the "Settings" option in the left-hand sidebar.
  2. Open Client Permissions:

    • Under the "Client" section in the settings menu, select "Client permissions."
  3. Configure Client Signup and Login Options:

    • Disable client signup: Check this box if you want to prevent clients from signing up on their own.
    • Verify email before client signup: Check this box if you want clients to verify their email before completing signup.
    • Disable client login: Check this box if you want to prevent clients from logging into the system.
  4. Messaging Permissions:

    • Who can send/receive messages to/from clients: Select the group (e.g., Team members) who can communicate with clients.
  5. Hide Menus from Client Portal:

    • Hide menus from client portal: Select which menus you want to hide from the client portal.
  6. Set Specific Client Permissions:

    • Client can create projects?: Check this box if clients are allowed to create projects.
    • Client can edit projects?: Check this box if clients are allowed to edit projects.
    • Client can view tasks?: Check this box if clients are allowed to view tasks.
    • Client can create tasks?: Check this box if clients are allowed to create tasks.
    • Client can edit tasks?: Check this box if clients are allowed to edit tasks.
    • Client can comment on tasks?: Check this box if clients are allowed to comment on tasks.
    • Client can view project files?: Check this box if clients are allowed to view project files.
    • Client can add project files?: Check this box if clients are allowed to add project files.
    • Client can comment on files?: Check this box if clients are allowed to comment on files.
    • Client can delete own files in project: Check this box if clients are allowed to delete their own files within a project.
  7. Save Changes:

    • After configuring the client permissions, ensure to save the changes to apply the settings.

By following these steps, you can control what actions clients are permitted to perform within the system, enhancing the management of client interactions and project contributions.
